Concept Happy Youchera™

During PLANTARIUM|GROEN-Direkt two new Heuchera’s, namely Heuchera Pinky Panky® and Heuchera Snowy Panky®, from the concept Happy Youchera™ will be presented.
The Happy Youchera™ concept consists of Heucheras from breeder Dirk Scheys, all selected for their survival during winter in the garden. These varieties are – much better than the average Heuchera – adapted to the current climatic conditions in our region. Not so much the cold temperature, but the resistance to large amounts of rain during the winter months plays an important role in this. Also important are the survivability of the potential Happy Youchera™ varieties during drier periods and their good resistance to direct sunlight.
Because of these specific characteristics, Happy Youchera™ – Heucheras are suitable not only for use in the garden, but also for the increasingly popular vertical wall plantings, where plants are exposed to extreme conditions at times even more so than in the garden. Happy Youchera™-Heucheras offer the possibilities of a huge range of colors with long survival. The Happy Youchera™ assortment already consists of some 20 varieties, to which Heuchera Pinky Panky® and Heuchera Snowy Panky® are now added as new selections.
