In de herfst, winter en het voorjaar heeft de hele plant de prachtige oranje kleur van een zonsondergang. Hij vormt een nette en eenvoudig te onderhouden heuvel. ‘Everglow’ is prachtig voor levende muren, gemengde containers, daktuinen en borders. Hij is gemakkelijk te kweken en vraagt nauwelijks onderhoud. Plant ‘Everglow’ in een vochtige, doorlatende grond. Hij groeit goed in de zon, halfschaduw en schaduw. Deze Carex is winterhard tot -25° Celsius en wordt ca. 50 cm hoog en breed. De ‘Everglow’ is het hele jaar door een geweldige accent plant.
