Skimmia japonica Gold Series® op stam – Skimmiakwekerij Bolwijn B.V.

De Skimmia Gold Series® biedt een diversiteit in kleur en bladvorm. Uitgangspunt voor de veredeling was de kleur van de bloemknoppen. De bloemknoppen van Skimmia Gold Series® variëren in kleur en behouden hun kleur veel langer. De Gold Series® geven in april-mei witte bloemen. Skimmiakwekerij Bolwijn B.V. uit IJsselmuiden biedt nu Skimmia Gold Series® op stam van ca. 60 cm hoog aan, een zeer ecxlusief niche product dat zich in de top bevindt van wat er teelttechnisch mogelijk is. De onderstam is door Bolwijn zelf ontwikkeld en wordt geënt met een mooi, uit eigen veredeling verkregen, Skimmia assortiment. Alle soorten zijn zowel besdragend als bloemdragend. Op dit moment zijn de volgende cultivars beschikbaar: Skimmia japonica ILLUSION, Skimmia japonica DESIRE, Skimmia japonica OBSESSION en Skimmia japonica MIRACLE. De planten zijn van topkwaliteit, uniform gepresenteerd en worden geleverd met een groot etiket met goudfolie. De planten worden gekweekt in een mengsel van turf met bark en perlite en staan in potten die traceerbaar en volledig recyclebaar (met certificaat) zijn. Deze Skimmia heeft een lage infectiedruk van ziekten en plagen en wordt geïntegreerd geteeld. Deze planten worden in de handel gebracht door Skimmiakwekerij Bolwijn B.V. en B&B Plant B.V. uit Lottum. Plantipp uit IJsselstein vertegenwoordigt het ras.
