Under the name ‘KerstbomenXL’, GROEN-Direkt sells large Christmas trees to, among others, malls, hotels, restaurants, businesses, municipalities, garden centres and gardeners.
GROEN-Direkt has a suitable offer for every question and budget. We offer to collect the Christmas tree ourselves, but you can also have the tree delivered, set up, lit, taken down and disposed of. For stable placement of the large trees, GROEN-Direkt supplies various concrete and steel feet, suitable for the size of the tree and the location where it is to be placed.

From start to finish
If you opt for full service, you will be completely relieved of all worries. We plan the transportation and perform the placement ourselves with flatbed trailers and telescopic cranes. Indoor trees (up to 5 meters) are fully impregnated and fireproof.

Our XL Christmas trees, which we set up indoors (up to 7 meters tall), are impregnated and treated with a fire-retardant for added safety. KerstbomenXL is a certified company that performs this treatment professionally and in accordance with current standards. This ensures you have a festive and responsible solution.

Our trees, almost always of the species Picea abies or Abies Nordmanniana, are distinguished by their perfect quality.
The trees come from responsibly managed forests and plantations; largely from our own production (approximately 40ha of nursery large trees) from Denmark and Germany. This means that for each uprooted tree sufficient replanting takes place and the assortment is guaranteed for the future. Each tree is selected individually and with great care by GROEN-Direkt.
It is known well in advance exactly which sizes are available at which locations. This method of working means that the Christmas trees can be dug up and transported at a late stage, so that their shelf life remains optimal.

The process of installing a “Christmas Tree XL” takes place over an intensive, short period of time.
Bij de plaatsing wordt gewerkt met hoogwerkers en kranen. Voor de plaatsing zelf heeft GROEN-Direkt speciale voeten ontwikkeld, die schoorlijnen overbodig maken. De kerstboom kan hierdoor midden op een plein geplaatst worden, zonder dat voorbijgangers struikelen over lijnen en dat de bestrating opengebroken moet worden.
Plaatsing vindt op het geplande tijdstip plaats, onder voorbehoud van weersomstandigheden.
Sustainably grown and disposed of

All Christmas trees come from responsibly managed forests and plantations; mostly from Denmark and Germany. This means that sufficient replanting takes place for each uprooted tree.
In addition, the Christmas treesXL are disposed of and recycled sustainably. The trunks are sawn into planks and made into pallets. Whatever is left of the Christmas tree is shredded and used to build walkways in forests.
